For each major exhibition of her work, she produces a small red book to accompany it. In 2014, she received the Johannes Vermeer Award, the Dutch State Prize for the Arts. From 1992 to 2023, she served as Senior Critic in Graphic Design at Yale University. Her works are held in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and in the Special Collections of the University of Amsterdam.
