Tokuko Ushioda is a Tokyo-based photographer. Her representative works include “Refrigerator / ICE BOX,” a series of frontal shots of refrigerators, and “BIBLIOTHECA / Book Scenery,” in which she captures the beauty of books as objects. He has been photographing books for more than 20 years since he was captivated by a book that was left behind in a building (Misuzu Shobo's former office building) before its demolition.
