Dayanita Singh

Dayanita Singh

For her, to take photos to make a book.
Books are portable museums.

Dayanita Singh doesn't think of making books as simply a medium for printing photos. I sympathize with her way of approaching books. Talking about Dayanita Singh, many of her previous publications have been produced in collaboration with Gerhard Steidl, and her latest work is `Book Objects.' This work should serve as both an exhibition and a catalogue.
