1. Purchasing process

STEP1 Product selection
When you find an item you like, select the quantity you want to purchase and click the "Add to Cart" button.

STEP2 Shopping cart
The product name, price, and quantity in your shopping cart will be displayed. Check the details and click "Proceed to checkout." If you are a Fragile Books member, please enter your "member ID" and "password" and click "Login." If you are not a member, please select whether you want to register as a member and then purchase, or whether you want to purchase without registering as a member and then proceed.

STEP 3 Payment screen
Please enter the purchaser's information, and specify the shipping address and payment method. All fields other than those marked "optional" must be filled out.
If you want to change the delivery address, please enter a different address.
You can choose from the following payment methods: credit card, Amazon pay, Paypal, and cash on delivery.
*Cash on delivery will incur a fee of 330 yen to 1,100 yen depending on the product price.
*Cash on delivery is not available if the total order amount exceeds 300,000 yen.

STEP 4 Specify gift wrapping
We do not offer gift wrapping.

STEP 5 Confirm your order details - complete
Your order details will be displayed. Please check the details and if there are no mistakes, click "Confirm Order".
Once your order is confirmed, we will automatically send you an order confirmation email.

If you use a free email address or a mobile phone/smartphone address, the email you send may be classified as spam or may be blocked by your provider and not delivered.

2. Delivery time

Normally, items that are in stock will be shipped within 7 business days of your order.
*Any changes to shipping schedules due to our company holidays, such as the New Year holidays and Obon, will be announced in the announcements section of the top page, so please check there.
If an item is sold out due to timing of inventory updates, we may not be able to deliver the item immediately. Thank you for your understanding.
We will inform you again by email regarding stock availability and delivery dates after you place your order.
For domestic courier services, the status of your order after it has been shipped will be displayed as "Kuroneko Yamato's parcel inquiry systemFor international courier services, please see "EMS tracking pageIf you select non-standard-sized mail, tracking is not possible.
Please check the "Shipping Slip Number" listed in the email we send you when your product is shipped, and then use the inquiry system.

3. Payment Methods

・Credit card
We accept VISA, MASTER, JCB and AMEX credit cards.
*Depending on the results of the payment process, you may not be able to pay by credit card.
*In order to prevent fraud such as identity theft, we may ask you to change your payment method from credit card to cash on delivery based on our company's screening criteria. Please note.

・Cash on delivery
The total amount to be paid is the total price of the product, shipping fee and cash on delivery fee.

[Payment method] Please pay the delivery fee to the delivery person when the product is delivered.
*This service is not available in the following cases.

・When specifying delivery address to certain areas such as remote islands
*If you do not receive your order within the delivery company's holding period, your order will be cancelled. If you refuse to receive your order, we may not be able to accept your next order.

・Amazon pay
You can use "Amazon Pay" provided by Amazon Japan.
You can shop easily, securely and hassle-free using your Amazon account from your PC or smartphone.
If you have an Amazon account, you don't need to enter any tedious information. You can shop using your registered shipping address and credit card information. On the shopping cart screen, you will be directed to the Amazon Pay login screen. After logging in with your Amazon ID, please proceed with the payment process.

PayPal is a payment method that allows you to make transactions with just your ID and password, simply by registering your credit card or debit card, or setting up your bank account transfer. 4. Shipping Fees

Shipping costs include our delivery fee.

Delivery company: Yamato Transport, Japan Post (non-standard size mail)
*Please note that customers cannot choose the delivery company.

Shipping fee list:

・60 size = 60cm up to 2kg
・Size 80 = 80cm up to 5kg
・Size 100 = 100cm up to 10kg
・Size 120 = 120cm up to 15kg
・140 size = 140cm up to 20kg
・160 size = 160cm up to 25kg
・180 size = 180cm up to 30kg
・200 size = 200cm up to 30kg

5. Receipts

If you would like a receipt, please write "I would like a receipt" in the comments section on the shopping bag page when placing your order.In that case, please also include the recipient's name and any notes.
The receipt will be issued in PDF format and sent to your email address.
*If you would like the item to be sent by mail separately from the product, please write that in the comments section.

[Cash on delivery]
Please use the receipt issued by the delivery company at the time of payment.

6. Specifying delivery date and time

You can specify the desired date between 9 and 21 days after the order date.
If no date or time is specified, we will deliver as soon as possible.
*Please note that if you select non-standard mail, we cannot accommodate requests for specific delivery dates and times.
*Please note that we may not be able to deliver on your desired date and time due to traffic conditions, weather, etc.

7. Delivery Areas

We will deliver your product to your specified address both in Japan and overseas.
After we deliver the product to your designated address in Japan, we will not be responsible for any damage, defects, incorrect products, or loss of the product if the product is shipped overseas using a forwarding service.
*Regarding delays in overseas deliveries and revisions to shipping fees due to the current global situation, there are currently delays in deliveries due to the situation in Russia and Ukraine, and shipping fees have risen significantly due to the sudden increase in fuel surcharges. We will review shipping fees depending on the situation and inform you of appropriate shipping fees each time. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.

8. Delivery method and invoice

Some products can be sent as non-standard-sized mail by Japan Post (350-710 yen nationwide, the price varies depending on the weight and size). Or, we will deliver it by Yamato Transport's home delivery service.
Please be sure to check the quantity, damage, and other contents when the product arrives. If you do not check the contents in time, we may not be able to accept your return.
A delivery note is included with the product.

9. Returns and Exchanges

We cannot accept returns or exchanges in the following cases:
•Products that have been delivered more than 7 days ago
•Products used
•Products that have been damaged or soiled by the customer
•Personalized, custom-made and made-to-order products
•Different sizes and images
If the return is due to your own reasons, please return the item prepaid (shipping costs paid by the customer).
*Please return all accessories and enclosed materials (warranty, instruction manual, etc.) together with the product. If any accessories are missing, we may not be able to accept your return.
*When returning a set product where multiple items are ordered under one product number, you will be required to return all items included in the set.
*The delivery receipt you receive when you return the product serves as proof of return receipt, so please keep it in a safe place.
*Please do not put cash or personal items in the package. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage during delivery.

10. Payment (refund) after return

[Credit card payment]
If you return the item after the cut-off date, the amount will be debited from your account and refunded by your card company the following month. Please check your card company's statement for details. If we are unable to process your refund via the credit card company, we will refund you by bank transfer.

[Cash on delivery]
We will process your refund after confirming the return. Please note that due to the process, it may take some time before the refund is processed.

[Amazon pay]
Refunds will be processed via Amazon Pay.

[Paypal]
Refunds will be processed via PayPal.

11. Repair warranty and purchase

We accept repairs and purchases of products purchased at Fragile Books. If you would like to repair or purchase an item, please contact us using the inquiry form. When doing so, please let us know the following information.
