sukiya-okoshi-ezu
About the time when the tea room was born400We will introduce imaginative "Koshi-ezu" (drawings of tea rooms) ranging from famous tea rooms by Rikyu, Oribe, and Korin that existed throughout the years, to tea rooms and their surroundings such as Setsugakure, Mizuyari, and Nakasen. The folded paper is turned upright and paper claws are inserted into the room so that it can stand on its own without the use of glue. Suki means "to like." Dimensions and materials are drawn in detail, greatly helping sukiyaists who lacked architectural knowledge or skills to express their "tastes" that are not bound by common sense. This small model of a tea room was handed over by the tea master to a craftsman (sukiya carpenter), who interpreted it and constructed it. From now on,90A few years ago, the "Sukiya Okoshi Ezu" (Sukiya Okoshi Ezu) was published by the Zammaisha Publishing Company, which collected "Okoshi Ezu" (pictures of tea ceremonies) that had been passed down through the generations of tea ceremony masters.1931Each edition is limited to one piece.
