 84 "paintbrushes"

Tense cover and mysterious small frontispiece. Even before you open the pages, before you hear the theme or the contents of the book, it is a definite masterpiece as an object. It is so beautiful that I would like to say, "This is the form of a book that should have been born in our time".
The 84 lines in the book are drawn with the same thickness as the width of the 84 brush strokes. The lines, arranged in ascending order, appear to be an attempt to extract the physical characteristics of the brush as if it were a sample book. The paper is chosen to be cream-colored, similar to the color of the bristles used for the brushes.
The artist, Miguel, who was a painter, decided to turn the inventory of his studio into a project. The painting materials transformed into this book are "brushes". The inventory revealed that Miguel, a painter, had 84 brushes in his studio, all of which had slightly different thicknesses. The width of the brushes ranged from 0.9 to 201 mm, and this "physical record" was born as one of the conclusions of the archiving and cataloging process.
