The book is in my hands
Where is the story?
It's on a different level from books
Kadokawa Bunko"Songs of the Heartless, Songs of the Heartful - The Poems of William Blake"(Translated by Toshitake Bunsho)The Earth's AnswerThis work was created by cutting up pages of the book and randomly pasting them together with glue, without losing a single letter.Perhaps due to the effect of layering glue, the edges are curved like a sake cup.
The material used was Songs of Innocence and of Experience, published in 1999. The first edition was published in England in 1794 as Songs of Innocence and of Experience. Songs of Innocence and of Experience has the subtitle "Shewing the Two Contrary Sates of the Human Soul," and William Blake, who was an active copperplate engraver, hand-painted and colored illustrations for each poem.
While Muku's songs show the innocence and cheerfulness of human beings, Uushin's songs use solemn language to express the suffering and pain that is inevitable in human life. The Earth's Answer"Uses the simple words "daughter" and "father" to metaphorically represent man and God, and speaks of the distortion and complexity of the relationship between them.
Koizumi Aya has previously cut and pasted text from various books (stories), exploring their quantity and whereabouts, but this time he has tackled "figures" for the first time. The colored illustrations give the work a new melody. The story is deconstructed, and the individual pieces of text are pasted together in a way that creates as little meaning as possible, and the text and illustrations are interwoven into this work. The pieces of paper seem to keep moving, like waves lapping on the beach and then crashing back, without knowing where to stop. There is a trace of Blake, who continued to write about everyday life in simple words.
