Edible specimen.
Flowers and herbs trapped
Herbarium.

Beautiful, delicious, and fragile sweet specimens sent to us by confectionery artist Mio Tsuchitani.

This candy, which has been made since 2014, was inspired by the movie "Sylvia's Town." The candy resembles a specimen of flowers or herbs, and can be poured over a cup of hot water to make a faintly scented herbal water to quench your thirst, or used as a sugar substitute when drinking tea.

"Cineca," which Tsuchiya started alone in 2012, is an atelier that makes and sells story-based confections based on movies. They treat everything from the ingredients and manufacturing process to the ideas, packaging, and words as confections, and provide us with a new eating experience.

The "herbarium" we are offering this time is one of the most popular sweets from Cineca. In this season of new spring, plants that sprout new life are trapped in sugar. If there was an edible book called "Spring," it would surely have a fragrant, clear, and soft taste like this "herbarium."

Story

Set in an ancient French city, a young man
He wanders the city searching for traces of Sylvia, a woman he once met.
From the movie "In the City with Sylvia," whose footage is particularly eye-catching
So the herbarium, a candy resembling a flower specimen, was born.

One morning, the protagonist, a young man, was sitting on the terrace of a cafe.
Looking through the glass, I see a woman's voice inside the store.
The person looked similar to "Sylvia," a girl he had had feelings for in the past.

Many memories are romanticized.
If there is someone you have loved in the past, that person will likely be preserved as a flower.

"Herbarium" compares Sylvia, who is beautifully sealed away in memory, to a flower.
The sealed memories are likened to glass-like candy,
We have created a confectionery that attempts to make memories edible.

When you pour hot water into it, the candy melts and flowers float up.
Just like the moments when memories are released.

Reflected in my eyes
Illusions are like flowers

Inspired film "In the Town with Sylvia"

It's fun to have different things available for each season. The plants are arranged in new ways and the designs are designed to enhance the sweets.

These sweets are made with care and are organic and pesticide-free, so that the flowers and herbs can be eaten. When they arrive from the producer, it's exciting to see that each one has a different look and aroma. They take a lot of effort to make, but each one is unique and adorable.

This is also a great gift for someone you care about, someone you want to convey your feelings to.
