Even though you're already weak
Weathered and faded
The fragility of paper balloons.
When you unfold the folds of the paper balloon and blow on it, the glassine paper crackles as it gradually expands into a round shape. The best part of playing with paper balloons is pumping air into them until they inflate.
The "paper balloon" we are introducing this time is sun damaged, faded, and has some tears, so it looks like it has been around for quite some time. It looks so fragile that I hesitated to even unfold it from its folded state.
You may not be able to fully enjoy the fun of blowing up a balloon and then banging it around, but the precarious feeling of this glassine paper is still special.
