Veronika Schäpers is one of the more outstanding book artists. If one could measure the overall strength of a book art, it would be: conceptualization, text extraction, material selection, layout saltiness, design tone, printing adventure, and bookbinding certainty, all of which are at a high level, making her a standout in terms of overall strength. Its style can be described as orthodox. FRAGILE BOOKS is the only gallery in the Asia-Pacific region to take up her work.

Veronika Schäpers（ヴェロニカ・シェパス）
1969年、コースフェルト（ドイツ）生まれ。1988年に製本を学び、1991年、ブルグ・ギービヒェンシュタイン芸術大学（ドイツ・ハレ）にて絵画とブックアートを専攻。1996年に同大学を卒業。1996年スイス、アスコナにあるセントロデルベルリブロで奨学金を得て3ヵ月間研修。1997年から１年間文京区の「紙舗 直（Paper Nao）」で坂本直昭のもと9ヵ月間研修。1998年、東京を拠点にブックアーティスト活動。2012年〜2014年、ベルリンに拠点を移す。2014年〜現在、カールスルーエ在住。
