Ryoji Arai, a picture book author and musician who also writes lyrics and composes music, will hold an exhibition of his original drawings. Each of the 23 original drawings for his new book, “The Picture Book Before It Became a Picture Book,” is full of nostalgic darkness and light, as if the memories of Mr. Arai himself and “someone I have never met” are blended together. During the Fragile Expo, we will also be offering custom-made frames selected by Mr. Arai.
