Rivotorto Pieces will be holding their first solo exhibition "Passage of Paper Textile". This is a group of works using `paper textiles' that are named after their predecessors, whom the two artists have admired since childhood. Such people appear from all over the world, including saints, picture book authors, and architects. St. Francis of Assisi, Atsuko Suga, Leo Lionni and Tokujiro Kojima, Bernard of Chartres, Tintoretto, Dante, Giotto, Seiichi Shirai, Sotatsu Tawaraya, William Morris, Edouard Vuillard, Pierre Bonnard, Montaner, Michelangelo, Hermes, Diotima, Barbara Sansoni, Hergé, Hiroshi Yoshino, Rousseau, Frederick II, Simone Weil, Aldo Manuzio, Picasso, the man who was in the Cave of Masdazir. There are also quite a few messages that come with each work that describe the encounters with each person.
